heyy :)) I'm Samuel Adeoye, a software developer and builder based in Canada.

I grew up in Ibadan, Nigeria. My parents worked incredibly hard to give me the best education they could, often shielding me from the tough times so I could focus on growing. They gave me the opportunity to study abroad in Canada, and I don't take that for granted. Being here, in a place that rewards hard work and value creation, drives me every single day. I want to leave the world better than I found it, and I'm doing that through technology.

That's why I'm always building. Right now I'm a software developer at Enaimco, where we're making workflows more intuitive for the energy industry.

On the side, I co-founded Notable, a recording tool with happy and paying customers. I also co-built Rechef, a recipe extraction app you can grab on the App Store. I'm always tinkering and building stuff casually too, check out my GitHub if you're curious.

I'm still trying to create something really valuable in the world. That's kind of all I think about honestly.

I write a lot of TypeScript, Python, and Dart. Comfortable across the full stack: React and Flutter on the frontend, Express.js, Hono.js, and FastAPI on the backend with PostgreSQL and MongoDB for data. I deploy on Azure and I'm big on AI tooling and shipping fast.

I graduated top of my class from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a B.Sc. (Honors) in Computer Science.

Experience

Software Engineer (Team lead) · Enaimco

December 2025 – Present

  • Lead a team of 3 developers building infrastructure that processes 2TB+ of video, photo, and document assets monthly
  • Mentor junior developers through regular 1:1s and author their performance reviews
  • Design and optimize ingestion pipelines with 99%+ extraction accuracy across all video formats and 7+ photo file types
  • Integrate third-party DVR services for real-time video ingestion during offshore inspection operations

Software Engineer · Enaimco

January 2024 – December 2025

  • Developed AI solutions that extract metadata and properties of subsea assets from unstructured engineering documents using Python and LangChain
  • Implemented a video processing pipeline on Azure Functions with queue triggers and Azure Blob Storage, supporting 500+ videos averaging 2.3GB each
  • Used Tesseract OCR to extract text from video frames, processing each frame asynchronously through queue triggers for reliability
  • Enabled GIS location extraction and transcript generation from subsea ROV inspection videos
  • Integrated full-text search using MongoDB Full-Text Search and Lucene indexes, improving information retrieval across the application

Software Engineer Intern · Enaimco

May 2023 – December 2023

  • Led the development of report generation with large language models in the application
  • Improved server safety by adding request body validation to the company API
  • Owned and managed the development of vector semantic search in the application
  • Reviewed code, gave and received feedback, and suggested improvements to teammates
  • Worked in an agile team with product managers and QA engineers

Software Engineer · Data and Image Analysis Group (DIAG)

May 2022 – May 2023

  • Led the development of a Next.js visualization tool that lets AI researchers explore medical image metadata
  • Built a Python data synchronization tool to sync data between virtual machines
  • Configured NGINX to deploy in-house websites for performance and reliability
  • Reviewed code on GitLab and gave feedback to improve code quality and team collaboration
